Husband is quite awkward and doesn’t accept anything nice I do for him.
Salam. I have been married 2 years and we have a child now. My husband means well I know he does. However he’s very awkward. Sometimes I feel like when I’m with his family he treats me like I’m an outsider and he’s part of their family. But it’s me and him now not him and his family. He doesn’t like to accept that he loves me and always is very like hard to get. He’s a good parent and overall a good husband.
When we are intimate right after he will get grossed out and just leave me alone and it makes me feel unwanted by him.
Another thing is when I buy him a gift or do something nice for him he won’t accept it. He’ll say to me to give it to my brother of to give it to someone else if they get an achievement but I bought the gift to celebrate him.
He does a lot for me it’s just I feel like he doesn’t include me. Now that we have a kid he’s so proud of the child and shows his family with pride and is very protective over him but with me I always felt like whenever I was with his family it was me and all of his family and him not a part of everyone.
When I try to express either issues he just gets defensive with me and will ignore me.
