Hey, I’m currently a 2nd yr BBA student at Symbiosis and planning to apply as a transfer to Ashoka in this cycle for BSc Management. I’d really appreciate honest opinions, trying to figure out if I’m being realistic or not.

Academics:

GPA: 8.4/10 (till now at Symbiosis)

NTU Singapore (summer exchange): GPA 5/5 (course: entrepreneurship + financial feasibility of a startup)

Regional scholarship holder (based on 12th grade scores — nothing crazy, but decent)

Academic/Research exposure:

Currently working under a professor on a research paper: energy–economic growth–geopolitics nexus

Collaborative international projects (research-oriented) with:

Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences

Berne University of Applied Sciences

Internships:

HDFC Bank (exposure to NRI portfolio/finance side)

Conferences / academic exposure:

Harvard Project for Asian & International Relations (HPAIR) — admitted for 2025 & 2026

Extracurriculars:

2 leadership positions in college clubs (with quantifiable impact—events, participation, etc.)

Core member of college football team

Unusual/creative stuff:

Diploma in 3D Animation

Run a YouTube animation channel (1.1k subs+)

Also have a whistling YouTube channel (1.1k subs+) + part of the Indian Whistlers Association (pretty niche, I know)

Why transfer?I feel like my current environment isn’t pushing me enough academically, and Ashoka seems much stronger in terms of peer group, research exposure, and overall trajectory (especially since I’m considering grad school abroad later).
