I have noticed this a bit more lately as I shoot at the range. I used to be able to put 200 rounds through without noticing, but more recently even getting to 150 rounds, the gun tends to get quite hot. To the point that I am feeling it when I have my trigger finger off and up on the slide, and with my thumb on my support hand (at the base of the slide release), and it is almost too hot. I will usually shoot two mags, reload and shoot again, so there is a bit of a down time, but not too much. Is this normal, if I am putting 150-200 rounds through in around 30 min?
