Hello everyone, I have a 1960 sears 11.6 flat bottom Jon boat I’ve been working on restoring. I’m looking to find an outboard motor for it, I’m looking for something that doesn’t have to be full tilt to get to a good speed. I found this one on marketplace place but I’m still new to boards.
I do have a lot of mechanical experience as I am a tech in the automotive industry I just don’t know a lot about outboards or boats in general, but as I can imagine they’re probably pretty similar.
