I’m currently a junior in high school and I’m really worried that my grades won’t be enough to get into the college I want to, last semester I had a 4.3 weighted gpa and a 3.8 cumulative. I also have a 30 act score. most of my classes that are bringing me down are things like theology and English and I really want to go into an Engineering field. Would colleges consider that my math and science grades are really good. Im also wondering how much my course rigor would contribute because I’m in all honors and ap classes and my grades probably aren’t as good as someone not in those classes.

Edit, I also go to a private school that is really hard compared to public schools, would they also consider this in my application

Why do teachers make it so hard to do well in their class? All my teachers act like a B in a class is a good grade, like it's the 90s; it's not anymore. They all act like we're at fault while the whole class is doing terribly. They need to realize that for a lot of people, grades determine their entire future. I feel like there's no point in giving someone a C in a class if the teacher knows you're truly putting in the effort. I get giving people bad grades if they really don't care about school, but most people do, and teachers are either going to have to teach better, or grade more easily.
