I just noticed that my uncle has light brown eyes although my grandma and granddad had both blue eyes. They had 6 children together and my uncle is the only one with (light) brown eyes. What are the chances this happens?

Girls,
I started taking birth control 2 days ago, on the first day of my period. That’s what my doctor told me to do. I was prescribed Maxim which is supposed to lower my Androgens. Now as far as I understand, if I keep taking this pill for 3 weeks, I won’t have my period. After that, I‘m supposed to stop taking it for a week and have my period.
Q1) When will I have my period exactly start and how long will it last? Will it last the whole 7 days period that I‘m taking break?
My usual cycle is pretty long (~32 days) and my periods are quite heavy and last 7 days with terrible first 3-5 days.
Will this stay like this? Because I literally can’t go to work or study when on the hardest days of my period. (For those concerned, I got cleared for endometriosis, my gyno told me I‘m healthy)
I don‘t like the idea of having periods more often.
Q2) Can I change this rhythm? Maybe 4 weeks of pills and 1 week break that is closer to my original cycle? Or can I not have any break when I‘m on my finals month in uni, because then my capability to study is severely impaired?
Q3)Why did my gyno have me start on the first day of my period? Does this mean I will stop bleeding early because the pill is supposed to prevent me from having my period, right?
Thank you for your answers, sorry if they‘re stupid I just don’t know how this whole thing is supposed to work.
Hi, I have these skin and hair products that I I’ve been keeping in a plastic box and probably not in the ideal conditions for a long time. They were probably over room temperature or left in the sun at least a few times.
I am hopeful about the moisturisers and thinking that maybe I can keep using them for body moisturisers? They are at least 2 years old.
The BPO gel has passes its best use before date and the sulphur & vaseline gel has been really watery. I am thinking of tossing them together with the acids from No Cosmetics. They are also 2 years old.
I am thinking of tossing the brow and lash oils as well. They are 3 years old.
I was thinking of starting to use the hair sprays although they are about 4 years old. Please de influence me if that’s a bad idea.
And I want to throw out the makeup removers because I started using Bioderma micellar water and they are left in the warm for a little too long.
Can I repurpose them in any other way or am I just guilty of owning too many products that I didn’t even use.
Hi! I already had one second-hand bike, and then I bought a new second-hand bike. I don't know much about bikes, so excuse me if I'm asking nonsense. I want to sell my old second-hand bike, but its tires (42-622) are really worn out, and I had a lot of flats during my last tour. It has a Dunlop (Woods) valve. I want to use the tires from the new second-hand bike. It has a French (Presta valve) and the tire size is the same (42-622). And buy new Schwalbe Marathon tires (40-622) for my new bike.
- Can I put 40x622 tires on my new second-hand bike?
2)Can I put my tires with a French valve on my old second-hand bike with a different kind of valve?
Thank you.
