Addiesdive ripped me off

I ordered a watch from the Addiesdive Dive Watch store on AliExpress. I opened it, and inside was some random leather key fob. The package didn't seem like it was tampered with. It wasn't taped shut. No holes in the bag. Their SKU label was fully intact. I find it hard to believe that it was opened and resealed by one of their shipping carriers. But regardless, even if it was tampered with, they need to accept responsibility for the watch not making it to my doorstep.

I used their chat to contact a representative. They completely gave me the run around. They ask me for pictures that I ALREADY sent them. So, I re-sent them. Then, they tell me that I need to include an unboxing video. I tell them "I don't have an unboxing video, because I had no reason to suspect that the watch I ordered, wasn't going to be delivered to me. They proceeded to reiterate to me that THEY shipped the correct product. Then they annoyingly requested again, that I send an unboxing video. I told them AGAIN, that the package has been opened already (as they could clearly see from the photos), and that I don't have an unboxing video.

It went back and fourth like this for longer than I'd like to admit. Either way, it ended with them refusing to either send me the watch I ordered, or refund the money. I had to dispute the charge on my credit card.

Needless to say, I'll never be ordering from those crooks again. Terrible business practices.

Disclaimer: This is primarily for in home sales. But I'm sure it applies elsewhere.

I'll never understand why companies hire seasoned reps for positions with little opportunity? If your territory is maxed out, and you have a solid group of reliable reps, please stop hiring experience reps based on a HOPE that the territory grows. If you're a hiring manager, please consider this?

Just hire a young rep, green, maybe in their early 20's. Pay them a salary of maybe 30-50k (depending on HCOL or LCOL area). Tell them that they'll be a JUNIOR REP. They'll be spending most of their week in the office, trying to get follow up sales on leads that the SR. reps couldn't convert on. Then, when it get's busy, send them out on leads that on paper, don't look great. Offer them, I don't know? 1-2% commission? They earn on anything that they convert in the office, or out on the field. When it's really slow, have them do prospecting work. That kid is going to be ESTACTIC to have that earning potential. They probably still live with their parents, or live with roommates. They probably don't have kids yet, and not a lot of bills to pay. They'll happily stay in that position for years. Then at some point, they can become a SR. Rep.

Sound fair? Why hire a rep with 10+ years of experience, if you don't have a secured space for them? It's incredibly unprofessional, and at the very least, short sighted. I mean, an experienced rep will recognize what's happening, very fast. They'll walk out on that position, just as fast as they walked in. Let's bring in a hiring process where managers are encouraged to consider if a candidate is overqualified. Lets be more respectful to sales reps. It's starting to get out of control.
