I simply need to express how much I love Jamaican people and Jamaica. I’m not even Jamaican myself, and I have no idea where this obsession began. Living in the UK, i encounter many Caribbean people. I guess it started with me being liking Jamaican accents. Slowly, i began eating Caribbean food more often (not specifically Jamaican, ik many countries share similar dishes) listening to Jamaican artists. It may sound weird, but after that I’ve become oddly obsessed with anything Jamaican or even Caribbean and started learning more about their culture. I haven’t even told anyone. I admire their culture so much. I’m like a koreaboo, but instead of Korea it’s Jamaica…
