I had a very sketchy experience at Sony Center
I’ve been hunting for a PS5 in Bangalore for the past week and have been calling various Croma, Reliance Digital, and Sony Center stores. I had a very positive experience with Croma and Reliance Digital, but when I visited the Sony Center in Kalyan Nagar, they told me they didn't have any PS5s in stock and didn't know when they would be available. I was very disappointed and was about to leave when I noticed they had a Sony Bravia Theatre Quad demo. I thought I’d try it out, but when I went inside the room, I was surprised to see multiple sealed PS5 disc variants stacked in the corner.
When I asked about them, the guy who came to give the demo initially told me they were just display pieces, even though they were clearly sealed. Then, the employee who had earlier told me they were out of stock came over and said those units were already bought by customers. It was very contradictory, and there was a really awkward silence between the staff. I even saw the manager call the guy who let us into the demo room aside and start scolding him. I left the place, went to Reliance Digital, and was able to buy a disc edition there. The whole experience at the Sony Center felt very sketchy.
