People keep saying console gaming is expensive, so I added up everything I've spent since buying my PS5.

PS5 (Nov 2021): ₹50,000

Extra controller: ₹5,000

One launch game: ₹3,500 (the store insisted I buy accessories and a game because getting a PS5 back then was almost impossible)

After that, I never really bought games. I just relied on PS Plus for the past few years. And I wasn't disappointed in ps plus lineups.

Even after recently buying the GTA VI Ultimate Edition, my total spending on this PS5 comes to around less then ₹90,000 total

So after nearly 5 years of owning it—including the console, accessories, PS Plus, and GTA VI—I've still spent less than the price of a brand-new PS5 Pro.

And before anyone asks, yes, I did buy a second PS5 later on so my younger brother could play in his own room. But that's a completely separate purchase and isn't included in this total.

Hey, i might be wrong but i checked and got to know that gta 5 online wont work unless you own ps plus. I bought a disc for 800 yesterday via marketplace, i plugged it and it is going gta online without any ps plus or anything. Is this how it works ??

This is seriously annoying that barely any posts here are related to ps5 india gaming. If I' wrong then i'll happily accept but it would be nice to have actual playstation or gaming related posts for at least half the time.

Anyways here is a video of me doing 2.7 billion damage in expedition 33 on ps5. Absolutely amazing game and i love every bit of it! The DLC really added fun broken stuff.

My first ever PlayStation!! I have been PC gamer my whole life but magic of GTA 6 brought me to PS5. For more than a Month i had been on a Hunt for PS5 and thanks to Amazon finally the hunt was concluded yesterday. Got this for 52k after sbi card discount which feel really fortunate in current market. The initial setup experience was amazing. Ordered ghost of yotei on flipkart. as this is my first time on PS5 please share some important beginner Tips .. Cheers..

I am posting this to tell you how i got this, i called every croma store in delhi ncr and all of them said not available. And randomly i got a call from one of the stores to pre book ps5. I paid 10k pre booking amount, but croma sec: 67 gurgaon added extra 2500 Rs. for (laptop maintenance care) which I didn’t needed, they also said its a bundle with ps5 and has to be purchased, which again was a scam. But I desperately needed a ps so i said ok. I paid around 57k for this and got a call from them after 3 days that my ps is available for pick up.

as a kid, i'd save up 20rs just to get a few minutes on a ps2 at the local game center. i have so many memories of playing smackdown! here comes the pain, the incredibles, and a bunch of other games with my cousins. then years later, it was gta v on a ps3 there. i always wished i could own a playstation one day.

after two years of countless internships and saving almost every stipend instead of spending it, i finally bought my own ps5 pro - with the disc drive, an extra dualsense, and a 1440p oled monitor.

ironically, i finally started building a physical collection just as sony announced they're moving away from physical releases. 😅 i guess i picked one hell of a time to become a collector.

it's still surreal buying something like this with money i earned myself. the kid counting 20rs notes outside the game center would've never believed it.

now it's time to work through the backlog, chase platinum trophies, and get ready for gta vi.

I had contacted most of the croma, Vijay sales. I felt Vijay sales was better with response. Even if there is no stock they put you in a waitlist. They respond politely. For better chances physically visit to establish a relation.

They had a condition to open the packing in the store and then give off. This eliminates major higher resale. That’s good in a way!

I wish everyone who is hunting to get one at MRP. Got tired after a point. But this happened out of no where. Same can happen to you!
