Made this site a while back to compare PS5 game prices across Indian stores - might be more useful now after the PS Plus price hike

We all know PS Plus subscriptions got expensive now 😭

Honestly feels like the best time to go back to physical discs again.

Prices are all over the place here between Amazon, Flipkart, GameLoot and local stores. Sometimes pre-owned is cheaper, sometimes brand new copies randomly go lower during sales.

I had posted this here a while back, but just as a refresher - savepointdeals.com is still up if anyone wants to compare prices across stores in one place.

No ads or anything, I mostly made it because I got tired of manually checking prices everywhere 😅

Jailbreaking a PS5

I have been on this sub for more than 2years. Given how the prices of games and subscriptions have increased by a lot, why is jailbreaking not a thing in this sub.

Don't give me the piracy bull, cuz most of us have pirated before and still doing it in PC games.

The ps5 jailbreaking scene is picking up. Just aksing, sorry if this is against the sub rules.

Cancelled PS Plus After the Price Hike — Doing My Part 🫡

PS Plus is actually not worth the price anymore. Sony really said "pay more for the same backlog and monthly disappointment.' Cancelled mine today. I've done my part in this boss fight against the price hike.

A increase of upto 71% in just 4 years. All prices compared

PS Plus Price chart and comparison. A 71% increase in just 4 years. this is not inflation but clearly something else.
Edit : the price chart is comparing launch prices with new increase and not the last prices.

PS plus increase

As you all are aware by now, that sony has increased the subscription price to around 9.5k, which will be in effect since July 19. So what can we do as consumers? I would say first to cancel the subscription, you can still avail it's services till the last date of your subscription. If you have disc edition of PS5, buy pre owned games, new games and once you complete the game, you can sell it, this way your cost of game would reduce significantly. Lastly sony seeing so many cancelled subscriptions, might revise its price increase. Hopefully, Xbox will take up this opportunity provided by Sony and increase their presence in India. If sony doesn't have any competition, they will continue to do such things going forward in future.

After more than 2 years of monthly deluxe subscription, cancelled it.

Used to pay 849/- every month regardless of play or no play. But increases the prices for subscriptions in India is not a fair move by Sony. We Indians got the worst price hike compared to the rest of the world, honestly.

Confused about ps plus

I bought ps+deluxe in November Black Friday deal. paid 5k. And now as i am watching everyone is stressed about the new prices. And i saw some post some users even canceled their subscription before their expiry. Why so ? And can anyone explain me if i cancel it will i still get to play psplus games till November ? I mean i would like to join the digital protest. But there are my 2 points that i am confused about. 1 is will i be charged the difference right now or can i stay stress free till November. 2 is why the cancelation ? And if i do it so can i continue to play till November ? And will i get my money back incase ?

So after purchasing a PlayStation 5 for nearly ₹50,000, how much more money have you spent till now, including subscriptions, accessories, and all the games? How much money have you spent till now in total on PS5 generation?
