Took a couple attempts but beat it with Cannonball, Sunspot, Warlock, Wolfsbane and Havok.

Stun Prof X with Havok and then it’s mostly about controlling the field.

For note: my New Mutants are gear 20 and my Havok is 4 diamonds so results may vary. But just sharing what worked for me.

Tried a couple different things before I found something that worked.
