My most worn MOB Beauty lippies 💕

My most worn MOB Beauty lippies 💕

Hi all, thought I’d share my favorite MOV Beauty lippies that I own! Today, I used M95 (top swatch) and was reminded how much I love the tones of their lipsticks.

Swatches top to bottom:
- M95 (soft matt lipstick): Seems really dark and scary on the lips, but I love wearing it lightly dabbed/blotted on with a cool toned liner, like MOB M159 or MAC stone. Its very cool toned and purple on the lips without being too much. Looks very nice worn at full opacity too, but its a bold look.

- M155 (hydrating balm shine): My most worn lip product from MOB. Their balm formula is so nice and cushiony. This shade is a perfect MLBB for me since its a muted purple with a hint of pink that matches my exact lip color. Its soooo nice I love it

- M138 (hydrating balm shine): I use this black balm all the time as a mixer shade to “gray” out shades that are a bit too bright or warm. Also definitely can be worn on the lips on its own for a vampy look with some cool toned liner.

- M94 (soft matt lipstick): A nice cooler toned rose shade that looks nice blotted out. Its a more natural shade I gravitate towards

If you ever do buy the MOB lipsticks, I do highly recommend buying the refillable cases they sell (I think they’re $5) since MOBs packaging is usually plastic free and cardboard. I love the idea but for lipsticks that you open and close frequently, Ive noticed that the cardboard can start to fray. I own a few of the plastic bullets to keep shades I’ll be reapply through out the day in so I don’t destroy the packaging.

Hi all! I purchased this sunscreen on a whim last year and I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone post or talk about it before. Its the SVR Sun Secure Photo Age Fluid spf 50+. SVR doesn’t disclose the UVA rating but its at least 20

For reference, I have dry skin prone to peeling from Tazarotene that I use for hormonal acne.

The texture reminds me a lot of the LRP UVMune oil control gel-cream, but is alcohol free and has 0 scent. As you blend it in, like the LRP oil control cream, it becomes “thicker”, which I assume is from the silica in the formulation. It sets down on the skin pretty well and is lightly moisturizing without being super glowy. I think most people could use this as an AM moisturizer but I’ve always layered a small amount of cream underneath. The best part for me is that it foundation/concealer actually applies nicely on top. No pilling, peeling, or breaking up throughout the day which is hard to come by! Gets a bit shiny but powder can fix that and I prefer a glow.

Cons are its not water resistant and is only 40mLs, but for low sun exposure days where I won’t be sweating and I want to wear makeup, it’s definitely something I would gravitate towards!
