Is Southwest waterfront kid friendly?

We're currently looking to move from the Trinidad/ Capital Hill area where there are many parks. We really like a place in Southwest waterfront but so far the only park we can really find is the duck pond. Is there something that I'm missing? Any families here with a 2-year-old have any recommendations or advice for/against moving here? Our son loves going to the park at least once a day, if not twice. He usually plays on the slides, monkey, bars, swings, etc. Also, most importantly, he's a single child so our main goal is also for him to have interactions with other kids. Thank you in advance.

edit: just as clarification, this is around 6th street and I street.

Good morning,

I'm looking for a home rental in the Trinidad NE area. I can do a lease start day as early as June 1st and as late as August 1st. Looking for something that's ideally >1700 sqft, three bedrooms with a basement. If you're a homeowner and are anticipating a vacancy soon or you're currently renting and either want to get out of your lease early or plan on leaving sometime this summer, would love to connect and potentially snag something up. Currently living in the area And would like to stay nearby.

Also open to capital hill options
