I purchased a secondhand Chanel North South Boy bag, been eyeing this model for a long time.

Got a very good price on this one, but for a reason, there is this wear under the flap.

Is it common wear on this model or is it simply a faulty item?

I'm asking because I would love to just keep it and wear it, but if it's a damage that will get worse and worse, I'll return it.
