I’ve been meeting with a surgeon and dietitian for several months for sleeve. Unfortunately I also have a large sliding paraesophigial (sp?) hiatal hernia.

I knew I have the hernia, I’ve had symptoms for years, I need to get it fixed. He initially said he could do both. He said it’s too big and would not recommend sleeve, and I will need a general surgeon. I did get an appointment with a general surgeon for next month. a bit disappointed. Why? I don’t know….

But I did go ahead and decided to go on Zepbound. I hope it works well for me and that I can tolerate…. I will need to find a different chat group…
