The other day my 4 wheel drive went out in my truck. It seemed to glitch out and shifted into 4low but was only in 2 wheel drive. The dash lit up and said service 4 wheel drive as well as stabilitrack off and traction control off. It’s a very high mileage truck so I don’t want to spend a lot to get it fixed. Could it be something simple or easy that caused this?
UPDATE! I put a new actuator for the transfer case and 4x4 selector switch in and now I have no gears or anything. It starts and runs but the transmutation stays in neutral in park, reverse, and drive. And when I put it back in park the gears grind a little
