Extremely happy with it, it's awesome and I don't see a reason to immediately change the stock os. My only complaint are the sticks, very very short travel but they're okay for occasional use. All the buttons feel genuinely awesome, and I guess now I understand why so many reviews praise the D-pad, it's just the perfect amount of stiff and clicky

So I've been looking through the options and settled on the RG40XXV, I love the larger screen and everything I've seen about it is awesome. This will be my very first handheld and I'm 27, so I only played PS1 and some Sega when I was little, so I genuinely have no preference in terms of what system I'm going to play I just want one to mess around with.

Now...in theory I would be able to get the RG40XXV for about $60 but I'm from Argentina and on AliExpress with shipping and tax and everything it's around $84 final price. For the exact same amount I realized I could get the RGCubeXX and I'm second guessing now.

I think I like the vertical format, but again it's my first so I don't actually know. I also know realistically I can't play very modern games that would make use of it but as a PS1/PS2 kid... something in me kinda liked the dual sticks? But again, maybe I'm just thinking in terms of "more is better".

Or maybe the RG40XXH...? But idk... something about the vertical aspect and that small bezel on the V seems so appealing to me

As my ONLY handheld, now and forever (I'm not interested in getting a collection or anything, I just want one to play with in bed and around the house when I don't feel like using my phone)...which one would be more recommended? Portability is nice but I'm not exactly planning to take it everywhere with me. I'm a married man and i will not go out to the park to play this hahah all good if you do, but that's not me. Maybe some train ride gaming but...doubt it.

Down to hear all opinions! And if anyone has tips on how the heck I can get either cheaper, more than welcome too. I've bought endless items on AliExpress and usually find good coupons and discounts...not for these for some reason.
