1983 Toyota Celica Supra refuses to start normally
This isn’t even something I can describe paragraph style. so i’m gonna make it a list and then add details at the end. PLEASE someone help me figure this out
this is what ive gathered about the issue so far..
• when I turn the car on it cranks for a really long time and then starts
• but IF I just turned the car off recently (within the last minute) it won’t turn back on, I need to let the car sit for like at the very least 5-10 minutes??
• it also cranks for a really long time when it’s a cold start
• no battery light when driving (only when on ACC)
• I don’t know if it’s related but hazards and blinkers aren’t working right now
recently fixed or replaced..
• new fuel filter and hose (and the injector was replaced at some point before I bought it, it’s not old I think?? doesn’t look old but the guy I bought it from didnt tell me anything about it)
• new alternator
• new timing belt
• maintenance work on distributor cap
• new spark plugs
• no corrosion on battery terminals
this has been a problem since all this work and has continued to be a problem now
