NDIS support
Hey Newcastle crew! My brother is being discharged from John Hunter Hospital and into our home. As his guardian I need to make some decisions around which NDIS provider to use for this process. There are a few I’ve narrowed down, but ideally would like:
- Decent size. Anything too small might have trouble covering supports, as he’s complex. Though not too big, I don’t want him to be just a number to them!
- Have RN nurses on staff who can train the support workers and oversee things
- Be NDIS registered. We don’t have time for crap supports or scams
- Have an on call team. My family and I really dont want to be stuck calling up to find staff at midnight
- A good reputation
Thanks so much for your help
