I have an iPhone 16 Pro Max and I am still on iOS 18.7.8 and I’m having trouble backing up to iCloud. When I click “backup now” after a few minutes, it shows the following error:

“The last backup could not be completed because iCloud contains a backup from a newer iOS version.
iCloud Backup will occur later when connected to power, locked, and on Wi-Fi or cellular network.”

I have even tried contacting apple support but they haven’t been able to fix this issue after hours of trouble shooting and said they’ll call me in a couple days. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

I have the 2TB plan.
