How about Sels for 2nd goalkeeper?
With Laurie saying we’re in the market for a new backup goalkeeper and names like Darlow being mentioned, why aren’t we looking at someone like Sels?
He has just one year left on his contract, brings exactly the kind of experience we’re lacking (both in the Premier League and in Europe), and being Belgian could also help with Lammens’ further integration in many ways! . On top of that, he’d likely be available for a reasonable fee given his contract situation( 1 year left)
Am I missing something here? He seems like a near-perfect fit for the role. Plus, if there’s any truth to the Anderson links, having a good relationship with Forest certainly wouldn’t hurt.
