Congratulations to Victor Lindelöf on winning the Europa League

Always liked Victor during his tenure as a red. He's a good lad and I have nothing bad to say about him. I'm genuinely glad to see him lifting a trophy this season!

He had 2 chances to lift this trophy with United, but the less spoken about those games, the better..

I'll always cheer on (not you Jadon) ex reds from afar providing it doesn't directly affect what's best for United.

I wished him all the best when he moved on and I meant it sincerely.. I'm genuinely buzzing for Lindelöf!

[Press Conference] Casemiro has played his final game for #MUFC, Michael Carrick has confirmed. Ahead of Sunday's game at Brighton, the head coach said: “It was kind of decided that last week would be his last game. I think that went well, as well as we all could have hoped. He’s been fantastic"

Would've liked to watch him play for us for the last time with Bruno getting the assist to Casemiro header

🚨 JUST IN: Manchester United are making progress on personal terms with midfielders so they can act QUICKLY when the window opens. lauriewhitwell states different candidates under discussion, including Tchouameni, Mateus Fernandes, Baleba, Ederson, Alex Scott and Hackney [TheAthleticFc]

Yes it's been sourced correctly now lmao, I imagine it's Baleba, Maybe Anderson, Alex Scott and Mathues Fernandes, it's basically like Cuhna and Mbeumo last year, moving behind the scenes and then immediately bidding and getting them in, I expect either Mathues Fernandes or another midfielder to be bought directly after the season ends like Cuhna was, then the rest maybe after the world cup or who knows? Two beforehand would be the dream.

(Ps Andersons source was that United may not match cities bid, another X account posted despite that the players open to OT, didn't backtrack like now so my fault twin)

🚨 | Manchester United are admirers of Bournemouth’s Alex Scott. Introductory talks have already taken place to evaluate the overall financial package required to sign the midfielder. [@lauriewhitwell | @TheAthleticFC]

Honestly don't mind him, he's a great Dm pairing and excellent ball recovery. Should be around 54m package I imagine, great young signing alongside other 2 midfielders

Referee Michael Salisbury not selected for final Premier League matchday

This is becoming sickening. Go against PGMOL to give the correct decision to Man United and you will get punished.

Lindelof @ Defensive Midfielder role

You mean to tell me that we could have been playing Lindelof as a defensive midfielder the whole time we’ve had him!? I’ve been watching Aston Villa recently and he’s looked pretty good there. I’m happy that he started the Europa final and won (Also kinda resentful Sancho got minutes in the final lol).

What are your thoughts on him in the midfield?

Should Carrick be our head coach or manager?

This isnt a jab at Amorim just a thought worth discussing

Unnecessary Baleba Hype?

This is also more of a discussion and a genuine question why some of our fans want Baleba when we have
Anderson
Tchoumeni
Tonali
As options he coearpy won’t dint with Mainoo we will be left with no starting quality dm and overloaded in the same position?

What should be a realistic expectation for next year league position?

I don't think we will be challenging for the title or even finish third. Pep leaving will open the league up massively and Arsenal aren't really that good to dominate the league like how City and Liverpool used to.

However they're still miles ahead of us in terms of squad depth. Same with Chelsea who under Xabi Alonso will probably stop being a joke and be a serious team. Liverpool would be much better too, Slot will either improve or be fired with a competent manager coming in. Villa still has Emery and Newcastle won't have any European games so they will be strong next year. All the teams are going to strengthen in the transfer window.

I still think Carrick overachieved and was lucky to get 3rd with an injury to either Mainoo or Casemiro away from everything imploding. Shaw also managed to defy his body and play every match. At the moment we have at most 14-15 players who I'm comfortable starting a match (drop off from Casemiro to Ugarte is huge, for example) when ideally you need two players for each position. Even if we get 5-6 players in, there isn't enough depth to play 60 matches.

For me remaining in the top 5 while doing well in the cups and Champions League would be a good second season for Carrick. Obviously if we have an amazing transfer window and assuming all the new players start contributing from match 1 would change things but after the past 13 years, that's still wishful thinking.
