We definitely had a lot of disappointing signings but it saddens me the most to see McTominay go for a paltry £25m. This is a position we have been struggling to recruit well even now. In terms of passion, he is right up there with the likes of G.Neville. In terms of tactical flexibility, he is a BBM who does whatever the shit you ask of him. I really think he was a victim of poor managerial decisions. Look at how well Conte played him in his 1st season at Napoli. In terms of technical ability, just look at the 2nd picture. In terms of physicality, he is 1.93m, has great strength and stamina. If Paul Pogba was £89m then this guy should be close to him as well.
