Blundered a piece, 3/0 blitz, opponent allowed me to sack for a draw

What are your predictions?

Not a brag post, just glad to hit 4 digits in blitz too. It's been interesting gaining elo in blitz as its forced me to understand chess much faster/at a deeper level than rapid did initially. Also, does this mean I'm now underrated in rapid? Haven't played it much since getting 1k there.

So I have in these 2 strand coils that I let grow out but now the bases are wide. How do I keep them locked other than merging 2strands? Twist and pull under somehow? I dont think this can be pulled out with significant length loss as the 2 strands have been in continously about at least 5-6 months

This guy has the potential to be quite a steal. He looked quite good in Ligue 1, looked good in his few Chelsea appearances and so far in preseason has been quite mint for united. Yes, preseason vs Wrexham and Rosenborg isn't a Manchester Derby or Hill Dickinson on a cold Monday night yards yards but watching his movement and position in game, he reminds me alot of Fred, does alot of good work in the middle of the pitch, tackles well, recovers well and has an eye for progressive passes.

Granted he won't be as much a goal threat as Casemiro was or a Cunha or Mbuemo but I can see good defcon potential there already and with Hull and Ipswich to start the season, good possibility of a price rise. I'm just not certain of what his minutes will be like to start off vs Tielemans and Mainoo.

For context, I use zen mode so didn't know the rating in game.

Now, yes I was up a pawn and in 3+0 or rapid I'd have traded a rook and tried to win the endgame a pawn up but I know that's not a guaranteed win(lucena position, a/b or g/h pawn endgame etc etc. So I repeated once, didn't see any continuation i liked and played the draw and the opponent agreed.

I know my choice is my choice but I am interested to hear what others think in these kinda scenarios.

Like I did say up top, if this was rapid where I could think or no increment where I could reliably flag then I'd play out an endgame but I suppose I didn't want to play the endgame like this vs moves that felt relatively good(compared to my lvl of play). I do think I had the better position out of the 2, 100%, probably a point for the pawn then like another 2 for the position but just didn't see anything that wouldn't require thinking through when I could just end it there and guarantee not losing. It was an arena game. Funnily enough I gained elo for the draw.

These people that are supposed to serve and protect are majority of the times nothing more than armed thugs harassing the civilian population and extorting. How are you going to physically assault a civilian for exercising their constitutional rights? Every single cop here should be made an example of by the DPP however we know what will happen because the victim here isn't an affluent jamaican likely, INDECOM will claim to investigate and nothing will come of it. This is why these thugs don't want to wear body cameras. This isnt a partisan issue either, the pnp now are singing the "right" tunes as they've been out of power too long but it's the same thing regardless of which one of the crooked parties are leading the country. This is disgusting to watch.

I've wanted to get here for so long but chess is hard ya know. Learned how to play when young but didnt follow it up much, started again a few months ago and hovered around 600-800 elo for such a long time. Being good at endgames(relatively speaking) my go to was to try win a pawn and trade down to an endgame but I tended to be lost in complex middlegames.

I stepped back from rapid a bit then and played mainly 3/0 and 2/1 arenas 4 or so weeks(as the 90 day graph shows) which helped to develop the ability to attack, no idling in 2/1 or 3/0, and it just came together. This isnt a bragging post, I'm just really happy and dont really have any irl chess friends to share with😅

Things like reels or clips of the jdf base on fire, any details re ship movements etc. This isnt the 1970s anymore and if foolishness is going on we should be able to shine light on it or confirm sme things are coincidence instead.
