Will Arsenal rotate?

It’s a great matchup for key Arsenal assets - but will they rotate players in preparation for the UCL final?

Why is everyone suggesting Man City players might get benched?

I understand Arsenal as they have the champions league final but Man City have nothing to rest for so why are people thinking key players might be benched?

Thank you for the memories.

gave up on my mini league, there was no way i’ll be get the top spot in 1 gameweek with the point difference, so i decided to use the last gameweek to pay memorial to these players instead.

also i know Alisson, Senesi, and Gordon is not confirmed but the chances are high enough for them to be included :)

Due to poor planning I have my triple captain left. Any ideas for who?

Arsenal and Man City seem out. Salah is playing at home against Brentford. Bournemouth might still try to leapfrog Liverpool and Kroupi’s form is insane. Does Newcastle have anything to play for Osula has been on fire too. The survival battles are a shit show.

Mukiele has surpassed Lord Lundstram's record for points by a 4m defender. Had defcon existed in 2019/20 Lundstram actually would've only hit it once all season!

[Gaughan] While Pep Guardiola has never confirmed he has a burner account on X, he has been seen sitting in restaurants around Ancoats square scrolling the app, and has an obsession with what the general public say about team selections.

More broadly, Guardiola is a manager who tends to hear what the world is saying about him, his club and his team. Indeed the idea that Guardiola owns a burner X account has been doing the rounds for years.

He’s never confirmed as such but has been seen sitting in restaurants around the trendy Ancoats square scrolling the app. And his obsession with what the general public say about team selections points in particular to the work of a doom scroller.

At various junctures over his time here, he has referenced outcry at team selection decisions, the sort of which can only be garnered through X.

‘Did you read social media when I picked the team at Newcastle in the FA Cup?’ Guardiola asked in March 2026.

‘How did Pep pick that team? He lacks respect for the competition. How can the people say that? Why doesn’t he play Rodri? Why doesn’t he play Bernardo? Why doesn’t he play this player or that player? Why has he left Erling at home?’

Other interesting stuff:

City midfielder Phil Foden answered a knock on his front door to find Guardiola standing there unannounced. The men hugged and went inside where just about everything apart from football was discussed for an hour.

This instinctive but deep emotional intelligence extends to club staff, too. Guardiola sends notes of support to the City women’s team staff while inside his office hangs a list of birthdays of all first-team employees. The rule is that they bring the cake for the celebration but a fuss is then made. Birthday well wishes are beamed on screens around the training ground and a bottle of champagne may be presented.

At least two wider City staff members have been given extended compassionate leave for family reasons, at Guardiola’s request, while he took it upon himself to persuade club bosses that all staff should be paid in full during the Covid pandemic, as many Premier League rivals leant into the Government’s furlough scheme. On another occasion Guardiola went to war with chief operating officer Omar Berrada – now chief executive at United – over employee bonuses.

Guardiola walked into one tense meeting and told Berrada that he was paying employees £10,000 each from his own bonus as a Premier League title win pot. In no uncertain terms, Berrada was urged by his manager to sort out the rest – and quickly. Staff who sat in on that exchange gawped in amazement. Berrada, in his defence, had rightly been worried about the tax implications of gifts.

This has been the lowest scoring season for many years despite defcon, double chips, 5 AFCON transfers and extra assists. Current world no.1 is 304 points behind where last season's Champion finished!

For those of us still fighting, how the hell do we approach GW38?

Are Arsenal going to play seriously, are Palace going to rest players ahead of the Europa Conference final? Is it a good idea to target teams on the beach or do they play better when the pressure's off, will West Ham play like demons and, almost most importantly, what the hell is Pep going to do in his last match?!?

This is going to be such an unpredictable weekend, I want to focus on safe bets but I feel there are none. Has anyone got and words of wisdom for maximising points this week?

Has anyone got any interesting title races going in their mini leagues?

Last week I was 1 point ahead of my mate in 2nd place and we got the exact same points this week despite having pretty different squads and different captains.

I think he will beat me as he has a chip left unlike me. Need a gift from the gods. I didn't take it very seriously initially and chose my favourites but jumped from 5.6 millionth to 550k from around December onwards.

I never used semenyo, wilson, guehi, thiago, in form rice or bruno g, anderson so im happy I've managed to do so well by backing weird players like garner and wieffer and mukiele early on and taking out gabriel for mavropanos just before he scored 21 points versus wolves.

it's been really fun this year whereas I usually give up. I think defcon has made it super fun this year and also a couple personal changes such as never taking a -4 all season. Can't wait for next season, I'm captaining Luka Vuskovic from day 1 next season!!!

GW38 Hail Mary transfers

With heavy rotation expected in some teams, we could see some crazy differentials in the last game week

I'm looking for YOLO type moves that could either score big or backfire badly

I kinda gave up after gw30-32 after trying alternative strategy and messing up badly (still sitting on my BB) but looking to go out in a bang (good or bad)

My thinking is:

Arsenal will be hung over

City/United will play their kids mostly

Teams that have something to fight like Bournemouth/West Ham/ Tottenham could be the best focus

Would welcome any ideas

What’s the best Fantasy platform for the FIFA WC?

Hoping to start a tournament with all my friends for this year but I’ve never done it before. Read on a different thread that FIFA’s official fantasy WC wasn’t so great in 2022 - is that true? And are there any good alternatives?

Is anyone still in their mini league cup and not got their fixture yet?

Ive won the semi final of the cup but its not given me a fixture yet, usually it comes up as soon as the gameweeks finished, just wondered if it was same for anyone else?
