My wife has a 2018 Mazda3 GT, is there a way to:

1 - update the navigation system without paying Mazda a hundred bucks

2 - connect an iPhone/Android phone such that Apple Maps or Google Maps can be displayed on the cars infotainment screen?

I actually prefer option 2 if possible.
