Birds on a rainy day
Decided to put the weather sealing of my gear to the test on a morning walk in the rain. Happy to report the G9 + 100-400 f/4-6.3 held up perfectly in a reasonable downpour.

All shot on Olympus E-M5 Mark I w/ Panasonic Leica 25mm f/1.4.
Please excuse the hint of chromatic aberration in the last kitty's whiskers, I couldn't get rid of it entirely. CA is an issue I'm noticing more and more with this lens, and as a photography novice I'm still struggling to identify root causes in a variety of lighting scenarios. Wonderful lens otherwise though, I love most of the images it renders.
Just got an E-M5 as a second, more portable walkabout body in addition to the G9. It might be old, but I really love some of the photos it produces!
All shots made with the EM-5 w/ Panasonic 25mm f/1.4.
The 25mm feels a little bit tight for urban photography in the narrow streets of my Dutch town but that might just be my inexperience with photography, and urban photography in particular.
All photos taken with the Panasonic DC-G9 and a variety of lenses. Most with the PanaLeica 100-400mm f/4-6.3, some with the Lumix 45-150mm f/4-5.6 (perhaps an odd lens to own, but an insanely cheap compact telephoto I picked up on a whim with my spare budget for reasons of portability), and at least one photo taken with the PanaLeica 25mm f/1.4.
I made the jump back into photography following a bit of a financial windfall some two months back with the G9 and the 100-400, intending to mostly shoot wildlife. Considering I live in the Netherlands, in the middle of the Rhine-Meuse-Scheldt delta, that wildlife has mostly ended up being (aquatic) birds so far, but I'm hoping to take some trips to more open natural areas soon in the hopes of capturing some other charming critters.
I have since gone a bit crazy expanding my lens collection as I am seemingly incapable of containing myself, picking up the aforementioned 45-150 for an absolute bargain bin price, the Oly 60mm Macro, and the 25mm prime. All gear was bought second hand of course, thank you MPB. They have all seen a fair amount of use already and I am greatly enjoying them all, even if I have a lot to learn. The process has been incredibly enjoyable and I just felt like sharing some shots I like, amateur as they may be!
