Caveat Emptor

We switched to T-Fiber a couple weeks ago, and we’ve now had two outages in 6 days. When they installed the service, they ran a line through the woods behind the house and left it exposed. So, it looks like some wildlife ran through and snapped the line. A technician came out to repair it and told us that they would eventually get around to burying the line.

We called customer service to request that it get buried, and they said that they do not schedule it until we’ve had service for 21 days because they want to ensure that we’re serious customers (No clue how fast they could mobilize after we can actually be scheduled). They explained that they don’t want to come out and spend the money burying the line just for us to cancel because we weren’t serious about the service. Well asked them to reconsider, and they denied it.

Well, it happened again. We have to get a technician to come out and splice the line *again*. All the while, customer service is saying that burying the line should have no effect on uptime.
