I was thinking about this earlier and talking with my friend. Since FB dropped Gap in 2022, SOOO much has happened. I’m 18, discovered thai gl in december 2024 when TLP came out and was still 17. The rest is history. I later realised i alr knew who Engfa was as u saw an edit of her on tiktok in 2022. Anyways, since i joined the fandom in very late 2024 i have recently noticed just how much it’s already changed. It’s crazy. Do you think it’s because they’ve gotten way more popular so there’s more people watching now? There’s more discussion around it? There’s more eyes on it so there’s more hate along with the support. I remember LOVING this Thai Gl community, and now sometimes i even think of leaving it because i’m sick of the toxicity around it. All the discussions (i love a good discussion there’s nothin wrong with them), i mean the discussions where people hate and go on rants about FS or whatever else. Do you think the fandom could ever go back to how it was? Do we think it’s gonna continue getting more popular to thr point it’s massively known worldwide (even more than it alr is)? OR do we think this could end terribly? They’ll be a day where all the couples we know now have seperate and ended their contracts, will the Thai Gl fandom die out with that because uhkl never be the same? Or will it continue to grow for years and years? LMK ur thoughts :)

so it’s a known thing- we all find the actresses stunning, hot, sexy, gorgeous and literally breathtaking. But is it only me who legit feels uncomfortable seeing people say the wildest shit online where the actresses can literally see it? and i don’t just mean people saying “look at her veiny hands omg”. I mean people saying the wildest fucking shit that i beg the actress’ would never see. It makes me cringe and feel bad for the actress’. Yes this is their job but they didn’t sign up for that. For example one comment was about lingling a while ago. someone posted on X i think literally just saying “i just know her strap is huge” IMAGINE SHE SAW THAT? I can’t think of other examples rn 😭 but i’m sure you all must have seen some. Another actress i’ve seen a lot about is LMSY - LM specifically. it’s almost like because they’ve had such intimate love scenes in shows people think it’s okay so make the wildest comments. Kinda the same with fanfic and smut. On Ao3, yes i too read some sometimes but not if it’s the actual actress’ names. Because why are we making it about THEM IRL. sexualising them so hard. idk if it’s just me. But sometimes i legit die inside and pray the women don’t see it bc some of them are so bad. The actress’ don’t deserve to be so sexualised. They’re still people and they’re just doing their job. and as a result people really sexualise them. sorry if i’ve worded this bad. I hope people agree with me and that.
