Got an ad limit in Google Ad Manager right after enabling "Premium Analytics" — 9 days of zero earnings. Anyone else experienced this?
**Got an ad limit in Google Ad Manager right after enabling "Premium Analytics" — 9 days of zero earnings. Anyone else experienced this?**
I've been using Google Ad Manager for about 6 months with no major issues. Everything was running smoothly:
- CPM consistently above $5
- Majority of traffic from Tier 1 countries (US, UK, CA, AU)
- Invalid click rate under 1%
- No policy violations or warnings
A few days ago I received an in-platform notification prompting me to **enable premium analytics features**. I went ahead and allowed it — seemed like a harmless upgrade.
The very next day, I woke up to an **ad limit placed on my account**. Never had this happen before in 6 months. It's been **9 days now and I'm earning absolutely zero**. No ads serving, nothing.
A few things I'm trying to figure out:
Is there any known connection between enabling premium analytics and triggering an ad limit? Seems like a hell of a coincidence.
Has anyone successfully appealed an ad limit in GAM and how long did it take?
Is there anything I should be doing right now to speed up the review, or will touching anything make it worse?
Should I be worried this escalates to a full account suspension?
I've already checked the Ad Manager policy center and there's no clear violation listed — just the limit notice. My traffic sources haven't changed. I haven't run any new ad campaigns or changed my ad unit setup.
Any advice from people who've been through this would be massively appreciated. Nine days of zero revenue on a site that was otherwise performing well is genuinely painful.
