Finally got the courage to start the process. Feels good to finally let go of my account.
Been on Facebook since just before 2010. I decided to pull the plug. I hardly use it and it's all AI slop now. I might come back with a new account, that would have false info and doesn't engage with anything except maybe local groups (Buy Nothing Groups etc.) and Marketplace, since Marketplace has great reach for selling or giving stuff for free.
If anyone does have good alternatives to Facebook Marketplace, please let me know as I definitely would like not to be solely dependent on Marketplace.
