Character idea: Halfling Magus (Eldritch Archer) with Scatter Sling

Hey!

Well, as simple as the title: Halfling Magus (Eldritch Archer) with Scatter Sling

Scatter Sling: When the wielder of a scatter sling makes a ranged attack with the weapon using a non-magical bullet as ammunition, she can have the bullet fragment into sharp pieces, dealing 1d3 points of piercing damage to each target in a 15-foot cone. She rolls the attack once and compares the result against the AC of each creature in the area of effect.

From Eldtrich Archer Ranged Spellstrike (Su): At 2nd level, whenever an eldritch archer casts a spell that calls for a ranged attack, she can deliver the spell through a ranged weapon she wields as part of a ranged attack.

So, I was wandering about the interaction of the two features. RAW the scatter sling says that you roll one attack that hits every enemy which AC is beaten. So what about the spell effects?

Cheers!

Hey!

Please help me understanding how it works.

I've found lots of posts about riders attacking after the mount fly-by-attack, but not for the rider doing non combat actions.

  1. For my understanding, FBA works like spring attack for the flying mount, but provocking AoO when conditions met. Is it right?

  2. So, the mount can make a full move and make a standard attack any time during this move?

  3. Also, the rider can make a full round action any time while his mount moves, like a move action and a standard action (channeling or aid another, for example). Any check is needed?

  4. In fact, any riding check is needed for that example supposing the mount don't make any "radical" movement? I mean, supposing it starts it's turn on floor, just fly next to floor and ends it's movement on the floor again.

  5. And, last question, could this FBA be a charge for the mount only?

Thank you! Cheers.
