XBOX App Not Connecting to the Internet
Today, I bought Forza 6 and installed it. After installing the game, I am unable to login into the Xbox app on my PC. All Xbox games on my PC have stopped working including MSFS2020, MSFS 2024, and Forza 5. The Xbox App takes forever to load and when it does load it says that I have no internet connection which is BS as my browser and other online games work fine. The Microsoft store runs fine. Sometimes when I boot the XBOX app it says there is an "account mismatch. Your Xbox account is different from your Microsoft Store account." I have been using this PC for a year, and this has never been an error I've seen. I have 1 Microsoft account, and it has been linked to my Xbox account since 2020 with no problems until now.
So far I have tried the following:
-I have uninstalled and reinstalled the XBOX app multiple times.
-I have restarted my PC multiple times, including unplugging it from the power supply for 30 seconds.
-I have uninstalled Gaming Services and made the XBOX app reinstall it.
-I've ensured the following are running and restarted them in "services":
- Xbox Live Auth Manager
- Xbox Live Game Save
- Xbox Networking Service
- Microsoft Account Sign-in Assistant
-I've signed out and back into the Microsoft in the store. I am unable to do anything in the Xbox app and it doesn't show me to be signed in.
-I've updated my drivers.
-I've made sure Windows is up to date.
- I don't have any VPNs running
-I ran an antivirus scan. I don't have anything but basic windows defender.
-I've synced the time and date on windows.
-I've attempted to repair the Xbox app but it says there is an error and it can not complete this task.
-I've reset the Xbox app.
-I've run the following commands and accordingly restarted my pc:
netsh winsock reset
ipconfig /flushdns
-I've run the Gaming Service repair tool. It says "it has been successful completed with an error" whatever that means.
-I've cleared the cache of the Microsoft store.
-I've uninstalled Forza 6
I'm completely at a loss at this point. I have no idea what happened and I've tried everything on the internet I've found. Any help or thoughts would be appreciated.
