TOMORROW! 🌶️❤️

Food Not Bombs Kenosha is back at Library Park for our second community meal share!

We'll be serving homemade chili and will have additional food, hygiene supplies, pet items, wound care items, community resources, and more available while supplies last.

Whether you're looking for a meal, hoping to meet new people, interested in volunteering, or simply want to spend time with your neighbors, you're invited.

📍 Library Park, Kenosha

🗓 Saturday

⏰ 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM (or until we run out!)

No paperwork.

No income requirements.

No questions asked.

Our first share brought together dozens of community members, volunteers, and supporters, and we're excited to do it again. Every meal shared, every conversation had, and every act of mutual aid helps build a stronger, more connected community.

Come eat.

Come volunteer.

Come hang out.

Come build community with us.

Solidarity, Not Charity.

Food Not Bombs Kenosha showed up in a BIG way!

Today Food Not Bombs Kenosha hosted our first community meal share.

We honestly don't have the words to describe how grateful we are for everyone who showed up.

Volunteers helped cook, serve, clean up, and welcome community members. Neighbors stopped by to eat, connect, donate resources, and learn more about what we're building together.

We completely ran out of food.

People shared stories, exchanged resources, made new connections, and reminded us why community matters.

A month ago, Food Not Bombs Kenosha was just an idea. Today it became something real.

Thank you to every volunteer, donor, community member, and supporter who helped make today possible.

This is only the beginning!!!

Solidarity, Not Charity.

GET INVOLVED IN YOUR COMMUNITY

CALL TO ACTION: VOLUNTEER

Over the past month, Food Not Bombs Kenosha has grown faster than we ever expected. We’ve organized recurring public meal shares, built local donation partnerships, recovered food and supplies, and connected incredible people together through mutual aid and community care.

To help orient new volunteers and answer common questions, we created an introductory guide covering what Food Not Bombs is the values behind mutual aid, and ways to get involved.

Whether you want to cook, recover food, help with outreach, distribute flyers, create art, coordinate donations, provide storage space, or simply learn more about what we’re building, this guide is for you!

Food Not Bombs Kenosha is entirely volunteer-run and community-driven, and we believe everyone has something meaningful they can contribute.

SOLIDARITY, NOT CHARITY.

Have extra food after an event?

Hosting a graduation party, barbecue, festival, wedding, work event, or gathering this summer?

Please consider donating leftover food instead of throwing it away

Food Not Bombs Kenosha is working to help recover good food that would otherwise go to waste and redirect it back into the community through accessible food sharing and mutual aid efforts.

We may be able to accept:

• unopened food

• surplus catered food

• produce

• bread and baked goods

• pantry items

• beverages

• extra event food

Perfectly good food gets thrown away every day while many people in our community are struggling to afford groceries.

If you or someone you know may have leftover food from an event, please message the page and we’ll do our best to coordinate
