Does anyone know of any good property tax appeal services in the area that can go to bat for us when there are major increases in property tax assessed values? I tried looking online however everyone I reached out to only services IL.
My husband and I are seriously considering buying Sunnyside. We are trying to decide if the bar should maintain its current aesthetic and attract the locals that’s always attracted maybe with an upgraded menu or some additional attractions like foosball or ping-pong table but what do you think? Have you been there? Have you had the food?do you like to drink there?
They have a large liquor takeout section- Have you ever had takeout alcohol from Sunnyside? And if you can do anything with the bar- what would you do?
Went to look for rocks with my dad last Saturday, but before we left I managed to get a picture of the sun try to peak through the clouds!
Unfortunately, my mower broke and I have been unable to replace it, so some of my yard is getting over grown. Are there any reasonably priced Lawn Care companies that anyone can recommend? Just want it cut down so I don't have to fight too badly when I'm able to replace the mower.
Thank you kindly!

Please consider donating leftover food instead of throwing it away
Food Not Bombs Kenosha is working to help recover good food that would otherwise go to waste and redirect it back into the community through accessible food sharing and mutual aid efforts.
We may be able to accept:
• unopened food
• surplus catered food
• produce
• bread and baked goods
• pantry items
• beverages
• extra event food
Perfectly good food gets thrown away every day while many people in our community are struggling to afford groceries.
If you or someone you know may have leftover food from an event, please message the page and we’ll do our best to coordinate

Come out next weekend to this town hall and learn what can be done to stop the data center they are trying to build in town.
I dropped my phone the other day and thought it was fine since my screen wasn't cracked, but just noticed the back is cracked all over while cleaning it. 😭 Does anyone have recommendations on where I can get it fixed (and maybe also a new battery) for a reasonable price? Apple wants $450 to fix it and at that point I feel like I'm better off just getting a new phone.
Are there any drive schools in kenosha that allow you to rent road test cars? Closest I could find is in Milwaukee and they won't come to kenosha. I moved here 5 months ago I don't know anyone to ask to use there car. Is there any way I can get a road test car without going to Milwaukee?

Kenosha’s newest photo spot has officially arrived!
The Bronze Al Molinaro statue was unveiled this week outside of The Port of Kenosha Beverage House in Downtown Kenosha, honoring the beloved Kenosha native and “Happy Days” actor.
Huge congratulations to Craig Pias, The Port community and everyone who helped make this incredible project happen after years of fundraising and community support.

UPDATE:
Thanks for the comments in the original post. I wanted to give an update about my contacts.
Sunderland: I called them. (They don't have a contact form on their website.) Someone answered right away. I described what I needed, and the guy said for such a small job, they wouldn't be able to do it for several weeks, so I should just call someone else.
Gagliardi: I submitted a request on their website. Guy emailed back right away with a basic time budget and rate. I emailed back and said, great, when do you think you could do it? No response for three days.
Waddle: I submitted the request on their website. Got a callback almost immediately and scheduled an estimate visit plus doing the work if I like the estimate.

Any recommendations for an electrician to do some small things? (Change a fixture, upgrade an outlet, fix fan wiring)
Already reached out to Sunderland, Gagliardi, and Waddle.
Thanks!
Wow, who could ever predicted that the economy would suffer uncertainty under the leadership Liz Uihlein supports so strongly? Hope she’s happy!
there are always people protesting stuff here. Anything from big businesses to LGB stuff. That's fine, i get it, some things suck here. My issue comes when they compare first world problems to the holocaust. Why do they do this? Why so extreme? Thanks.
Hi everyone. My husband will be turning 40 in June- I’m looking into small getaways and/or unique experiences we can do to surprise him.
We have 2 kids, so if it’s a multiple night thing, they would come with. So, open to family-friendly but also adult type things to do if just for the day or 1 night.
Somewhere to relax, pool to swim, foodie/beer/spirits experiences. He’s into music and outdoors- hiking/camping etc.
Okay I know this is all pretty broad range of things, but I’m wanting to hear of interesting places we may have never been before. Not sure which direction to even start looking, so all ideas are appreciated!
Edit to add: I’m born and raised here in Kenosha so a part of me feels like I’ve seen it all already within the state and surrounding areas. You guys have great suggestions already, just looking to see if something I’ve never heard of comes up!
I’m curious as to why so many new folks are moving here rn. Kenosha has recently been featured in Realtor.com as one of the hottest markets in the U.S. What first made you notice Kenosha and then when you researched moving here what were attracted to? Did you visit first and scope it out? What was the draw?

What restaurants are open late in the Kenosha area?
I’m looking to find a place to sit down and eat after 10pm.
