Not sure what to do next in the living/kitchen space
Hi, Looking for advice on how to make this open-plan kitchen/living room feel warmer and cozier.
The room is approx 13.5 ft x 23.5 ft. We have just painted the green walls and pink kitchen cabinets. The cream tile flooring and leather sectional sofa need to stay. The fridge is in the only place it can be.
I'm struggling with:
Where the TV should go
How to arrange the living area
Whether I need a larger dining table (have been looking at some second hand ones)
How to make the room feel less empty and more inviting
I have some pieces of art work to go up on the walls.
I'd love a cozy, modern-rustic feel that works with the wood-burning stove and existing wall colour.
Also please excuse the gaping hole in the kitchen, we are thinking of either getting a drying or filling it in with more storage.
What would you do with this space? Would love some suggestions! TIA
