Force USA Base Bench with Leg Devloper and Preacher Pad

Please excuse my form lol

This is NOT the Force USA MyBench, as that one doesn't have any ways to modify the leg pads, and has no built-in attachment for you to hook it up to a cable machine. I also believe the base bench is newer and technically made for their C10 trainer.

I bought his bench about a month ago, and I love it for the additional stuff I can do at home now. There weren't many reviews or videos or anything on this machine when I wanted to get it, so I thought I'd at least post something for someone who might have the same issue as me.

I almost when with the Ironmaster for the small form factor, but couldn't justify the price given I had to pay separately for the leg developer, AND the leg developer didn't have many options for adjustments.

Nothing wrong with the ironmaster, it just didn't fit what I needed.

Pros:

-Same cost as the MyBench, but has more options for leg lengths, and has the ability to attach to a cable machine, and has multiple heights for each attachment.

-Can be attached to a cable machine that has 2 pulleys, or could be used with free weights.

-The preacher pad I assume is identical. I just removed the little attachment for where you can place the bar.

-the bench is sturdy, well built and can be stored upright as it had 2 little rubber stoppers at the head of the bench.

-I like the vinyl on the bench, but i assume there are better options out there.

-It costs $500 WITH the attachments. I was able to get it for $400 through the Shop app.

-It comes with a handle to move around! Apparently some benches do not.

-You can decline if you also use the leg developer to hold your legs. Haven't tried it though.

-I like that I can use the preacher pad for back extensions. It obviously works well for preacher curls as well.

Cons:

-I wish the padding on the leg developer was bigger, that way I could maybe get a better stretch during leg curls or extensions.

-The rubber pad on the base of one of the legs is loosely attached to the leg, so it sometimes comes off. Would be nice if it were glued or something, but not that big of a deal.

-Could work on a single pulley tower, but I wouldn't know how, nor would I probably recommend it.

-The max seat angle is only 23° which is a little low.

-The gap is pretty big between the seat and the back pad, which I have heard can annoy people.

-Some accent pieces are just plastic, like the end caps for the leg developer pads. It would be nice if they were metal.

-The post for you to install the attachments is in front of the seat, so it makes it a little longer than some benches, and you may sometimes run into it since you won't immediately be used to the extra length.

-The attachments are kinda big, so storing them is a bit troublesome.

All in all, I love the bench and the leg developer. It's just what I personally needed to more or less complete my at home gym.
