Should I push my exam date back?
I thought that 10 weeks was a reasonable amount of time to study for FAR while I’m working full time in public accounting as a tax associate.
I’m only in week three but I’ve been feeling stressed out every day trying to complete the daily planned modules on Becker. It’s taking me pretty long to get through each module since I have to pause and take notes and think about things for a while before I can understand it. Or when getting a question wrong, it can take a while to understand it.
Right now, when I get home from work, I rush to my computer and login to Becker to start studying right away until I go to bed. I feel like I have no time for anything else. Just work all day and study all evening. I know this is normal to some extent but idk if this kind of pace is normal or if I should push my exam date back. Right now I’m studying about 22 hours per week.
Is this normal and should I stick with the plan? Or should I push my exam date back so I can study at a more relaxed pace? Or would that be a bad idea? What’s an alternative timeline to study for far? More than 10 weeks? Please let me know your experiences.
