Ollie Connolly, who was plugged in with Jonathan Greenard trade to Eagles, says Josh Sweat will be traded today. It will either be to the Packers or Eagles.
Whelp, I'm gonna guess Eagles. They have more draft capital to give up than us.
EDIT: Bukowski with some great information on draft capital:
>The Eagles traded their 2027 third-round pick (and 2028 third) for Jonathan Greenard, so they don’t have that selection to throw in a Josh Sweat trade.
>They’re expected to get a 3rd from the Jaelan Phillips but they can’t trade that pick until they get it next year.
>Meanwhile the Packers are expecting to get a pair of fourth-round picks and a fifth in compensatory selections next draft.
>They should be much more willing to part with their current draft picks than Philly even without a first in 2027.
>the Packers also have the 2027 Cowboys fourth from the Rashan Gary trade.
>If Sweat goes to the Eagles for a fourth or less, Green Bay has no one to blame but themselves. They have the perfect group of picks to swing this deal.
>Unless the Eagles are willing to offer a second, they basically can’t offer a better package than Green Bay can unless it includes a young player the Cardinals happen to love.
