Cat Eye post-surgery.
Hello!
I have a 7-week-old kitten that recently had eye surgery. We want to confirm if what we are seeing is "normal".
We came home to find that he had somehow cut his eye, and rushed him to be seen at the vet. We then brought him in same-day for eye surgery (recommended by a specialist) which was successful, and included stitches. This was on Sunday the 10th.
He was kept for observation from Sunday until Thursday, and since then he has been home, with a collar/cone and an ongoing regimen of 5 kinds of eye drops provided by his eye surgeon.
Today, we noticed that his eye seems to have a "milky" covering, and a slight bulge. We have been informed that this may be due to the dissolving stitches? Still, hoping for a second opinion. Thank you.
