2015 F150 2.7
Hey everyone,
I’m looking at purchasing a 2015 Ford F-150 XLT with the 2.7L EcoBoost and 169,000 miles. I’m trying to do as much research as possible before I go look at it in person.
Asking price is 10.7K
A few things I’ve noticed from the history/Carfax:
Transmission was rebuilt in February 2017 at 19,666 miles.
Oil changes appear to average around every 10,000 miles.
For those who have owned or worked on these trucks:
Is this considered a good buy at 169k miles?
Are there any common issues with the 2.7L EcoBoost I should be concerned about?
Does the early transmission replacement raise any red flags?
What should I specifically inspect or ask for before purchasing?
Are there any maintenance records or repairs that would be deal-breakers at this mileage?
Any advice from current or former owners would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
