Bongo - 13 year old amputee

He recovered quickly but never quite got back to his normal stride, small walks but no running. We got him a wagon and he loooves those walks. He gets up but has some trouble with traction sometimes.

He was off his carprofen for maybe a week and a half while I waiting for refills and he’s now refusing to get up. He CAN because if I pick him up he’ll stand or take a couple hops over to whenever I’m leading him but he isn’t really WALKING. I don’t know if it’s a coincidence or directly associated to being off carpofen (I just got his refill).

Did any of you go through this?

I’m getting nervous because my doctor had said with amputation I’ll probably have another 9 months, and we’re at that point. He’s of totally sound mind and I’m not ready to give him up. He’s got recheck xrays on the 5th.

Eats and drinks fine - will play and bark and snack.
I feel like he’s trapped in his body and there’s nothing I can do for my very best friend.

Swag lamp rewiring help

I bought this kit to rewire this lamp but the friend helping me says I need a kit where the screw in part for the bulb is included and the ones I’m finding aren’t long enough.
Thoughts?
