Had personal information stolen from Mercari

So I had a bunch of perfume sample and perfumes that I did not use a someone on Reddit suggested I sell them on mercari.

While creating an account it asked for a picture of a valid state issued ID and a current picture of myself to verify my identity, I did and was eventually approved. I posted several items and made sales, received funds, was rated by buyers.

However two months later I saw a withdrawal from my personal bank account for two charges worth $890 I disputed the charges ($400 & $490) with my bank and 3 months later they rejected my claim and refused to compensate me for the stolen funds because they concluded that I had authorized the transaction I told them I had not and they told me I had purchased cryptocurrency through an app called metalpay I told them that was wrong and escalated the claim to their executive fraud department. A week later and I was told that they concluded that the transaction had been authorized by me (I had NOT) they said they would send me a report of their investigation.

I received the report and the pictures I uploaded to mercari to verify my identity were the same pictures used to create the cryptocurrency account along with my bank card that I input when creating the account.

I’ve contacted all 3 merchants and metalpay terminated the account, my bank said they would NOT be reimbursing me the stolen funds because they concluded it was me (AGAIN IT WAS NOT) and all mercari did was remove my verification badge from my profile and have limited access to the app’s features.

Has anyone found themselves in these unfortunate circumstances or does anyone know what I could possibly do?
