something off with Boyd's grandson

idk why no one talks about this resident of the town.

I am certain that he isn't the fun loving progressive top-button-fastening man about town he pretends to be.

perhaps he's a reincarnation of Father Khatri?

could you make a (temporary) alliance with the monsters?

suppose, for the sake of argument (I'm not a psycho or anything) that you really despised your neighbour, could you engineer a Jasmine like scenario where you agreed to open several doors to other houses for the monsters over a protracted period of time, would they go along with it or just kill you for trying to exploit the situation?

Asking for a friend

I don't have much battery left as there are no chargers in the town I'm from, all the sockets are weird.

It should've been Christopher

Rewatching From from the beginning again, in S3E8, Thresholds, I noticed that Victor remembers the Boy in White very clearly telling Christopher that he, not Miranda, had to go through the faraway tree, but Christopher didn't listen.

Is the reason it always goes wrong that that the Christopher/Jade incarnation either refuses (Christopher) or is otherwise stopped from going through the tree, whilst for Miranda and Tabitha it is never going to work.

how close did Miranda get?

The fact that Smiley *ran* to stop her getting into that tree makes me think that one simply has to recreate those conditions, entering the tree at night, to get to the version of the lighthouse where the children are actually trapped (it makes sense that, like the monsters, they're in the tunnels in the day but somewhere else at night now)
