stumped on relative
i know this seems so silly but my mind is so focused on finding out what happened to this person! they’re not even a direct relative (2nd x2 removed) but i’m super curious
the 1930 US Census has Barbra Tucker (1928–??) living with Dad (Earl Tucker b.1893) and Wife (b1901.) and three older brothers (Lowell, Virgil and Robert.) The 1940 Census then shows the three brothers living their but not Barbra. I’ve looked and no death record in between that time. However ancestry hints seem to bring up a Barbra Buchanan (later James) in the 1940 Census. I know ancestry hints are not always reliable but this seems a pretty random one to suggest. Not sure if i’ve worded this but very new to ancestry and genealogy in general so any help would be appreciated!!
current thought is maybe she was adopted out of the family but that seems odd considering she had three older brothers who stayed in the family.
