New concerning mole, but derm said no biopsy? 24F history of scc
Hi all, i’m 24F with history of invasive SCC. i have skin checks every 2-3 months and my derm found a dark mole (attached here) on my back that wasn’t there/wasn’t noticed during my last skin check 2 months ago. its about 3-5 mm. she was concerned at first looking through the dermatoscope, but ended up telling me to just keep an eye on it for my next skin check. is there a reason she didn’t do a biopsy? I’m a little concerned because it wasn’t there for my last skin check, so why would she not biopsy? is that reassuring?
