The worst airline ever
They refused to let my 9 yr old nephew on the plane when 16 of us were flying together from Yyz to IST
Zero remorse
We couldn’t check him in the night before and we called Turkish airline 5 times as everyone else was able to check in and they said go to the airport early and you will be able to and get good seats
When we arrived as the usual check in time (not early) they said his passport expires in Oct ending
Mind you it was June still and they couldn’t let him fly even though his parents and return ticket was booked because it was under 150 DAYS!!!!!!
He cried so much and they did not care!
Luckily he had an aunt who didn’t come and was able to take care of him for 10 days but they are HORRIBLE HORRIBLE

They shoved his passport in the Mother’s face and said THIS PERSON CAN NOT FLY
No apology nothing and to make it worse they called someone random on the flight to come and take his seat ( the mother and daughter thought they could have an extra seat atleast during the flight?
The stranger said it was odd it got a called randomly and said your seat has been changed
