Incoming Indian International Student – Advice on MEng, Accommodation & Student Life at Southampton Malaysia?
Hi everyone,
I'm an Indian student who has received an offer for the MEng Engineering program at the University of Southampton Malaysia and am seriously considering joining.
I'd love to hear from current students or recent graduates about their experiences. I have a few questions:
• How is the MEng program in terms of teaching quality, workload, facilities, internships, and career prospects?
• What accommodation options would you recommend?
• What is the average monthly cost of living, including accommodation, food, and transportation?
• How is student life on campus? Are there clubs, events, and opportunities to make friends?
• How easy is it to settle in as an Indian international student? Are there many Indian students, and is Indian food easily available nearby?
• Is there anything you wish you had known before joining Southampton Malaysia?
