Seestern 38mm case with an Alix Seiko dial. Kept the crown and caseback (which I could shave down to save another mm thickness, tempting)
Thinking that the cadisen hommage did not have a ceramic bezel, so it would have had more of a vintage aesthetic. Enjoying it as it is for now, might try and do a cadisen as well later
Was not planning to buy both of these but here we are. Might as well do a comparison! This is the Watchdives V2 which is overall closer than the current V3.

For me case thickness and crownguards are always a big deal, so putting them next together, you can see the WD comes really close. At the tip of the lugs the WD is a big higher. Both wear nice and close to the wrist.
I will age this baby and get a raffles 79090 dial for this one, and silver hands. I heard the crown is 6.8mm instead of 7mm and it can be hard fitting a 703, so maybe will just polish down the current one. Anyone ever also started from this watchdives?
