Any companies/firms' recommendation for fresh-grad/entry-level Data Analyst or Data Engineer?

Hi everyone,

I’m an international student who recently completed my Master’s in Computer Science from Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago. In the past, I’ve worked on data analytics, ETL pipelines, SQL, and AI/ML projects through internships, coursework, and personal projects. I’ve been applying for Data Analyst, Business Analyst, and Data Engineering roles, but it feels like most openings are looking for candidates with several years of experience.

For those who were in a similar position, are there any companies that are known to hire early-career international graduates or candidates on OPT? I’m trying to understand whether I’m targeting the wrong companies or if the market is just particularly challenging right now. Any advice or company suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Career Choice

I recently graduated with Masters in Computer Science. I don’t have any particular interest as to what job I want to do but I know for sure I’ll give my everything to whichever job I get.
I’m starting my prep to find a job in USA.
In this market, I’m really confused as to what should I prepare - for SDE roles, Data Analytics, data engineering role etc…
Although I know that I am not a good programmer.
Can anyone please guide me on what should I do?
I already know SQL, Python, little bit Excel
